EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMALS FOR PURPOSES OF PRODUCING COSMETIC

By Valdemir Mota de Menezes, The Scribe:   I am in favor of animals being used for food and for the advancement of science regarding the production of medicines, treatments and vaccines. But I am against the use of animals in tests to satisfy human vanity as in the case of preparation of cosmetics with purely aesthetic purposes. Hit when the European Union passed a law that took effect in 2009 prohibiting the use of animals in cosmetic testing. But it's good to say that the use of robotics and computer graphics to scientific experiments is limited.
